Nicki Perez


Project Designer

Originally from the Rio Grande Valley, Nicki received her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design with a Business Administration Minor from Texas State University – San Marcos in May of 2011. While in school, Nicki completed her first internship with the highly recognized firm A.S.D. Interiors in Los Angeles, California then returned to Austin to work for the Kasey McCarty Interior Design Studio. Before joining KCID, Nicki served as a project designer at the Kasey McCarty Interior Design Studio for over a year working on commercial, residential and hospitality projects in the Austin area.

As a project designer, Nicki is involved in every stage of the design process from preliminary programming and research through final project installation. Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D Modeling, her thoughtful work creates a simple and creative harmony between function and aesthetics, providing the client with the perfect space that not only meets their needs, but also suits their personal tastes. Her clear communication style and keen attention to detail provides clients with a sense of comfort and confidence. Finding inspiration in art, architecture, music, poetry and fashion, Nicki sees design as an opportunity to enhance the everyday lives of those around her, as well as her own. Her eclectic style combined with a great range of technical skills bring a unique flare to the KCID design team. In November 2016, Nicki passed the NCIDQ examination and became a Registered Interior Designer in Texas.
