Since joining KCID soon after its inception in 2012, Nicki has collaborated closely with builders, architects, developers, and owners on a broad range of projects including high-end residential, commercial, multi-family, student housing, and hospitality- managing all stages of the design process from programming through construction administration and project installation. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design with a Business Administration Minor from Texas State University, Nicki began her career with an internship at the highly recognized firm A.S.D. Interiors in Los Angeles, California where she was influenced by the diverse and eclectic urban environment. She then returned to Texas to continue her professional journey working on high-end residential and hospitality projects in Austin with local designer Kasey McCarty until 2012. In 2016, Nicki became a Registered Interior Designer in Texas and serves as a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers and International Interior Design Association- Texas Chapters.

As Senior Project Designer, Nicki prides herself on thoughtful work that creates a simple and creative harmony between function and aesthetics, and strongly believes projects rooted in collaboration and partnership leads to a more seamless and successful outcome. Her communication style, attention to detail, and holistic approach, combined with experience ranging from technical and 3D development to project management, provide the necessary components to ensuring a final product that is creatively designed as well as carefully executed. Finding inspiration in art, architecture, music, travel and fashion, Nicki enjoys exploring and learning from the world around her, always remaining curious, and applying her experiences to her work and every day life.
